We work with a clear purpose: ensuring that every adventure is both exciting and responsible.
Our commitments
What we do to care for the desert while enjoying the adventure.
SDGs in action: sustainability you can see.
We turn the Sustainable Development Goals into real actions: local employment, responsible consumption and decisions that protect the desert.
Decent work
We create stable, safe employment for the local community.
Community & coexistence
We built our center outside the village to reduce noise and respect daily local life.
Responsible consumption
We reuse equipment whenever possible and prioritise local suppliers.
Climate action
We optimise routes and fuel use to reduce emissions.
Life on land
We protect fragile areas and safeguard local flora and fauna.
Partnerships for real impact
We collaborate with the local community through training programs and environmental clean-up initiatives.
Your driving also makes a difference.
Your driving also makes a difference.
Every action helps protect this unique place.
Before the route
Listen to the briefing and ask anything you need.
Understanding the guidelines ensures a safe experience.
During the route
Follow your guide’s instructions, keep distance and respect the marked paths.
Do not overtake, avoid stepping on vegetation and do not use drones without permission.
At the end
Check the area and make sure no waste is left behind.
A clean route starts, and ends, with you.
Measurement and transparency
Sustainability is also proven with data
Each year we will publish real indicators to track our progress:
- Fuel consumption per route
- Routes completed in responsible time slots
- Environmental incidents (all reviewed)
- Waste avoided
- Training hours
- Community clean-up days
What gets measured, improves.
And what improves, gets protected.
Roadmap 2025–2027
An action plan that brings together sustainability, community and continuous improvement.
Measure to improve
A data-driven system
We are launching our environmental and social indicator system to strengthen transparency and community participation.
With this foundation, every decision becomes more conscious and measurable.
- We will publish our first environmental and social KPIs on the website, providing clear and accessible information.
- We will implement the protocol for sensitive areas and launch the Responsible Traveler Guide, strengthening visitor education.
- We will carry out four community clean-up and awareness days, promoting a better-cared-for desert.
- We will begin our digitalisation process with internal management and environmental measurement tools, improving overall efficiency.
- We will digitalise bookings, vehicle maintenance and route tracking to ensure more transparent and up-to-date monitoring of our sustainability indicators.
Growing with impact
Local economy and footprint reduction
We are creating employment opportunities for women through the new local laundry, and we will begin offsetting part of our carbon footprint through initiatives developed directly in the Merzouga area.
In this way, we strengthen economic autonomy and implement environmental improvements that directly benefit the community.
- We will launch the laundry managed by local women, fostering stable and autonomous employment.
- We will offset emissions through local reforestation and clean-up actions, supporting the desert’s ecosystems.
- We will reduce fuel consumption through efficient driving and optimised maintenance.
- We will integrate digital systems into team training and the traveller experience, achieving more consistent processes.
- We will implement an electronic maintenance and safety log, along with online training content on responsible driving and environmental care.
Evolving in balance
Green spaces and environmental education
We are expanding the center with new green areas and strengthening educational partnerships to promote responsible tourism in Merzouga.
This will help create a more sustainable, pleasant and future-ready environment.
- Expand the center with green areas and natural shade, improving thermal comfort and reducing energy consumption.
- Strengthen local partnerships in environmental education and training, creating opportunities for young people from the desert.
- Consolidate the digital transformation of the business with an integrated system that unifies management, sustainability and communication, making continuous improvement possible.
”Behind every route lies a real commitment: operating with respect, giving space to everyone, and making the desert an accessible, safe and sustainable place for those who live here and those who visit.
